There ar three types of trains : Saemaeul train (express train), Mugunghwa train (special train), and Tongil train (general train).
The Saemaeul train is the fastest and provides various services such as phones, notebook computer tables, and restaurants. Mugunghwa train connects cities and runs more frequently than the other two trains. It is also tourist-friendly.
The Tongil train stops at small towns. If you want to see Korea's countryside, it is best to use the Tongil train.

KR Pass card makes it possible for people to book train tickets by phone and get discounts for specific times.
KR PASS card is especially convenient to tourists that travel a lot. A 50% discount for children, 5% discount for adult is available.Now, the price of KR PASS card is 2,000 won for a specific time (2002. 5. 30~ 12.31)
