Film Location of "Friends"
The movie "Friends" has changed the local language and produced many fashionable expressions. Thanks to it being filmed almost exclusively in Busan, many sites in the Busan area have now become famous. The film was about a school during the 1970's and 1980's. The whole area of Beumil-dong where “Friends” was filmed is now known as the "Street of Friends", thus making it a tourist attraction in Busan. Other Busan locations included the steps on the right side of the mouth of the Yeongdo Bridge (the site of the fortune teller's house), the Jagalchi dried fish market and the International Market.
