Under this monument, we should gather ourselves up, prevent national tragedy never happening again in this country with dead ancestors' spirits and their contributions, think about what we should perform now for national unification, and for what we're responsible.

The guidance of Monument for the loyal dead
This is the constructed place where we want to pay a holy tribute to the spirits of martyred patriots, soldiers, and police officers born in Busan and passed away gallantly to protect our country as a symbol of justice and devotion in June, 1957, but it was too small and crowded to pay homage to them silently, then we finally came to a conclusion to transfer this place to this holy monument at the Daecheong Park on September 7, 1983. The spirits born in Busan region came here, the spirits born in Gyeongsangnam-do(province) region went to Changwon. Here, we only preserve carved sculptures and monuments of writing at those times.
What are you having in your mind while you are looking at this pagoda looking down over the ocean like safe guardian here?
What are you having in your mind under this giant statue standing over the hill gallantly like scolding injustice and badness?
Have you ever thought about the reason why you can sleep soundly and comfortably without any disturbance surrounding yourself? and Have you ever recollected the reason how we've gotten many great skills to show them off toward the brightly advanced international stage all over the world?
Ah! Ah! What would happen otherwise our patriotic and brave soldiers got the Nakdong River battle victory against enemy at the very risky moment the Communist soldiers wanted ours to swallow in their mouth? How can we still live here now with great comfort?
