Location : in front of former Mihwadang Department(Gwangbok Ro)
"Bisang(Soaring)-2000" representing and symbolizing the image of fashion and 21st century's jump and people's resting place in the center of Gwnagbok street were built up to make Mt. Yongdu cultural street from June through December in 2000. Creating and Setting up symbolic formative[plastic] arts on the street is to maintain and restore the previous fame of this region, revive the identification of this area, establish the good status as a cultural tourism city, and specialize cultural streets.
Also, This construction was embarked on not only implying western fragrance and Busan's advanced history, but also representing courtesy and generosity as an old urban area and fashionable image to make specialized cultural streets active through preserving cultural assets in this region and to revive identification. Its purpose is based on using valuable cultural assets and activating regional industry with making Busan as a beautiful place to live and stay in .

On May 7, 1991, Mt. Yongdu cultural street(Busan Modern Historical Museum~Gwangbok Street~Baesan Memorial Hall~Bomundang) was designated from the Ministry of Culture & Athletics
"Bisang(Soaring)-2000" is the formed arts symbolizing the image of fashion as Gwangbok street‘s specialty and 21st century's great leap in the center of Mt. Yongdu cultural street. Finally, it distinguished itself with celebrating messages which are longing for bright future of Busan and Junggu from 22 cities in 19 countries all over the world
The symbol formative arts "Bisang(Soaring)-2000" at Mt. Yongdu cultural street is made with the theme of cloth, man, woman, as the fashion's basic symbols. This "Bisang(Soaring)-2000" is standing for the new millenium soar up powerfully to the sky with animated and energetic human bodies in the upper part
through making the best use of fashionable image as Gwangbok street's specialty like from the left bottom and softly linked cloth like wave to courteously embossed carving seagulls as Busan's emblem
