Busan Department Mall was registered on May 21, 1973 under the name of Busan Department Beonyeong Hwae (Incorporation). Busan Deparment Mall sells traditional crafts, lacquer ware, artistic frames, and insam (ginseng) items as their main merchandise.

The commercial area includes arcades attached to an apartment village near the Gwangbok-no road. The facility, however, is criticized to be not as convenient for visiting shoppers.
