In order to establish a memorial hall to commemorate past democratization struggles carried out by Busan citizens, the Pan-Busan Citizens Promoters Committee for the Construction of Democracy Park decided to build the “Busan Democracy Struggle Hall.”
The Busan Democracy Struggle Hall has set up exhibition programs to review the past democratization struggles, and to analyze the struggles in terms of our current insight and future goals. This is inclusive of the movements' duration layout in comparison to other democratization movements in other parts of the world. The goal is to achieve a true democratic society.

The exhibition chronicles past events along with the cultural environment of our time. We are confident in the realization of a democratic society not only for us but also for the world community. We envision a harmonious future where people live side by side with progressive technology and nature. Such is the visionary democratic world of our interpretation as it is demonstrated in the Busan Democracy Struggle Hall.
