The topography Jung-gu offers outstanding features, with soaring mountain peaks and a wide ocean. Mt. Bosu's peak rises majestically against the sky. Its ridges are linked to the peak of Mt. Gubong to the north. Jung-gu also looks over an expanse of blue water from the Busan port to the frontal south. Although the mountaintop is now considered an independent hill right at the bosom of Jung-gu, it was originally linked to the peaks of Mt. Bogbyeon ridge to its north.
